5–7 minutes Samsung, LG & More App Store
Before you continue
This guide walks you through installing a third-party IPTV player app on your Smart TV. NAIPTV doesn’t own, operate or provide support for these apps directly.
Most player apps are free from your TV’s app store. A few require their own separate purchase from the app’s developer — that purchase, if any, is unrelated to your NAIPTV subscription, which stays active either way.
Set up Hot Player with NAIPTV
Hot Player is a third-party IPTV player. After installing the app on your Smart TV, you can use the subscription details provided by NAIPTV to configure your service. The player itself does not include TV channels or content.

Frequently Asked Questions

It’s shown inside the Hot Player app itself, usually under an “Account” or similar section — it’s generated automatically the first time you open the app.

Where can I find my device’s MAC address?
It’s normally shown on the device or portal-setup screen itself — check your Formuler or Dreamlink device’s settings or network information if it isn’t visible in MyTVOnline or DOL2.

Both iMPlayer and Smarters Player Lite work well on iPhone and iPad and support Xtream Codes API logins. Try one first, and switch to the other if it doesn’t suit your device.
Do I need to jailbreak my Apple TV?
No. Both apps install directly from the App Store — no jailbreaking is needed.

iMPlayer and Smarters Player Lite are primarily built for iPhone and iPad. Check each app’s App Store listing for your specific Apple TV model to confirm tvOS support before installing.

Troubleshooting Tips
-
Check your internet connection. A stable connection of at least 15–20 Mbps is recommended for smooth HD streaming.
-
Make sure your NAIPTV credentials are entered correctly. Credentials are case-sensitive.
-
Restart your device and your router/modem.
-
If you use a VPN, try switching servers or temporarily disabling it to test whether it resolves the issue.
-
Clear the cache of your IPTV/player app, then reopen it and test again.
-
Some internet providers may restrict IPTV traffic. If you suspect this, using a VPN may help improve access.
NAIPTV Setup: Quick Answers
How long does IPTV setup take?
Most customers are watching within 10–15 minutes: install a player app, enter the NAIPTV details from your activation email, and start streaming.
How do I install IPTV on a smart TV?
Open your TV’s app store, install a compatible player app, then sign in with your NAIPTV details. Pick “Smart TV/Not Android” or “Android TV/Box” above for your model.
What app do I need to watch IPTV?
NAIPTV works with common third-party player apps. Player apps are separate products — some are free, others require their own licence after a trial.
Do I need an IPTV box?
No. A smart TV, streaming stick, phone, tablet or computer is enough. A dedicated box is optional.
What internet speed do I need for IPTV?
We recommend a stable 15–20 Mbps per screen for HD, and more for 4K. A wired connection is more reliable than Wi-Fi.
Can I test IPTV before paying?
The 1-month plan is the lowest-commitment way to start. If the service does not work on your device and support cannot resolve it, you can request a refund within 7 days of your first purchase.
Which IPTV app is best?
It depends on your device. Choose your device above for the player we recommend, or ask our support team in English or French.
